1. Query Shark: A super site to send your query to for great advice. The blog belongs to Janet Reid, a New York literary agent. She randomly selects submissions and offers her expert advice on how to improve the query you've sent her. No guarantee yours will be selected but if it is, pay attention, don't be too sensitive, and count your blessings. Your query will be much better because of her advice.

I came over here via Twitter, so I guess that makes Twitter a good thing -at leat for me, becaue I came here! I am currently on hiatus from my own blog - but will be back to regular daily and/or weekly blogging the end of this month or beginning of Octobr. In any event, I invite you to visit mine - I still post occasionbally, and I have a rather large archive, considering that I have only been at it for about a year and a half!.

I am getting ready for a surgery that is going to keep me out of work for a couple of weeks, and forgot that YOU awarded ME the Versatile Blogger award, so rather including your link in my post about winning the award, I nominated you for the award again. I am so sorry I have been so scatter brained! For what it's worth, here is what I said about your blog in the post that has been filed (it is going out tomorrow):
Mary Ann is a writer I met over at Twitter. She has completed a full length novel (I'm envious) and is in the throes of editing it and getting it ready to submit for publication. Her blog is about writing, and the writing life.
